Googling Myself

The more I think about it, the stranger it is. When you're asked to do things like 'google yourself' you know its going to get interesting. When I did I was introduced to a couple avatars who like myself, were on Facebook. I definitely didn't feel unique in anyway. Here was a whole squad of other Jarred's who also thought it'd be cool to get Facebook and LinkedIn profiles.

Google puts you on blast. They had my old myspace, my Facebook, and my Soundcloud. Not only do they have information from my old high school on there, but they got where I go to school now, pictures of me, and what type of music I make/listen to. Thinking about all this kind of makes me want to deactivate all of my profiles, but even so, is that possible?

Blog Post 3: I-Doser

I have really never heard of i-dosing before and after learning more about it I was very skeptical about its effects people. After listening and viewing a few of the i-doser videos myself (here is one of them), my reaction is just as I suspected: it's all talk.

After watching a few of the videos the only effect I had was a headache from listening to annoying club music and watching over stimulating visual effects. I didn't really like the videos and see no point in why people watch them. I guess it's a cheaper and safer alternative than illegal drugs, but I don't really see the effect. It seems that the videos could be for people who are already on drugs and want to get a better "high", but being sober it didn't do much for me.
