Video Reaction

It is incredible to me how little I know about the creation and development of the internet. I think it's really interesting that it was the cohesion of three different countries (America, France, and England) and three different ideas (military, science, and commercial) that led to the early internet. I thought the video did a great job of explaining the complicated history of the internet in an easy to understand manner. I was most interested in the layout and networking of the internet. I never realized the importance of having a decentralized network that allows for connection despite any one "hub" being damaged/destroyed. Obviously, the decentralization of the internet is what has allowed it to become the social networking and communication based tool that it is today.
