I found the video vary informative and found out some interesting facts about the internet as well. I found iteresting that the internet was started with an interest in science, online banking and the military. I had no idea that online banking was a main motivation to connect computers across the world, considering that my parents and I online banking is a pretty new idea.
My interest in the video focused mainly on the political implications that led to the invention of the internet. I found it interesting that the competition during the cold war reached farther than an arms race and seeped into the schools which then began to fund science and math programs that urged new developments in those fields. These new developments helped us us compete with the soviets and the rest of the world.
